We want to extend our sincerest gratitude for the many participants, donors, and sponsors who supported our annual golf outing on October 15. We are continually impressed and awed by the outpouring of community support for our student-athletes. Thanks to you, we’ll be able to continue to enhance athletic opportunities for current and future Donegal School District athletes.

Mackenzie Allessie Pays Tribute to Her Dad’s Organ Donor Family

Field Hockey Team Raises Funds for Donor’s Scholarship

The October 5th field hockey game to raise awareness for organ donation held special significance for All American sophomore Mackenzie Allessie. Her father, Andy Allessie, received a life-saving heart transplant in 2007 after organ donor Kevin Ryan, an 18-year-old freshman at Towson University, was struck by a drunk driver while walking back to his dorm.

Former DHS Soccer Star Earns No. 2 Spot on ESPN's Top 10 Plays

Donegal grad Griffin Libhart, now a senior midfielder for The Mountaineers at West Virginia University, scored his first career goal during the Mountaineers 3-0 win over American last month. The impressive goal was made by Libhart sending a back-heel kick of his left foot past the American goalie—and it earned the number 2 spot on ESPN's Top 10 plays.
