When you see all that DAC has accomplished through the generosity of members and donors like you, it’s clear that supporting Donegal Athletics in 2022 is a solid investment. All the ways your support can impact our hardworking student-athletes and teams are outlined below, in a letter from our President, Larry Forrey.
I’m writing to say congratulations and thank you to the members and contributors who have helped DAC to accomplish so much over the past 10 years. This support continues to make a direct impact on Donegal student-athletes by enhancing their experiences and letting them know that the community is invested in their success.
Look at all our members, supporters, and volunteers have done by working together:
· Secured $1 million to offset costs of the new athletic complex
· Contributed $50,000 for lights in the stadium
· Purchased a new scoreboard for the softball field
· Added new mats in the PE room, which are also utilized by the wrestling team
· Purchased a clock for the cross-country teams
· Added a windscreen to the baseball field
In addition to these projects, DAC recently celebrated its 10th Annual Golf Tournament fundraiser and its first annual 5K race event. Both of these fun community events are volunteer-run for the sole benefit of Donegal Athletics.
