Who We Are
Donegal Athletic Club is made up of local community members, parents, Donegal High School graduates, and retired Donegal educators.
As an all-volunteer, nonprofit 501(c)3 organization, our mission is to invest in Donegal athletics in order to support our school district as a whole, enhance the overall student experience, and contribute to the quality of life and closeness of our community.
Formed in 2009, Donegal Athletic Club operates independent of Donegal School District but works closely with the school board to support the district’s specific goals.
Our vision is to build a secure, sustainable framework to support future generations of students, our school district, and our community by providing all students with the opportunity to benefit from the lifelong skills gained in athletics; by providing financial support for athletics, thereby helping our district continue to enhance academics, the arts and other areas; and by creating community-wide opportunities for recreation, fitness, and sports, contributing to the livability and appeal of our community.
