The LNP recently published the Lancaster-Lebanon League’s track and field honor roll, and multiple Donegal athletes made the cut.

In the most recent honor roll published on May 22, 2023, Kathryn Fernald placed for the Donegal girls track and field. Her time of 11:29.22 in the 3,200-meter run placed her 5th on the honor roll, which put her right behind runners from Hempfield, McCaskey, and Warwick. She fell one spot from the previous honor roll that was published on May 15, 2023, where she held the 4th place position ahead of Madison Kimmel from Ephrata (11:31.22).

The boys track and field honor roll featured two athletes from Donegal–Caleb Kendig and Mark Overlander.

Kendig placed 4th on the most recent honor roll for his 49-3.5 at shot put, placing him ahead of athletes from schools like Ephrata. He also held the 4th place spot on the May 15 honor roll for the same 49-3.5 at shot put.

Overlander earned a 2nd place spot for his 13-3 performance at the pole vault on the most recent honor roll. He placed ahead of athletes from schools such as Conestoga Valley, Penn Manor, and Lampeter-Strasburg. On the May 15 honor roll, he placed 2nd at the pole vault for the 13-0 that earned him the title of L-L League champion.

In addition, on the honor roll from May 15, Donegal placed 5th for their boys team 400 meter relay with a time of 43.77, tying with Cocalico.

According to the LNP, the honor roll for L-L League track and field is based on the event results from pa.milesplit.com. The results include invitationals and dual meets, and the timing is fully automated.

Congratulations to our track and field athletes who placed on this honor roll, and to all of our athletes who have competed this season. Keep making the Donegal athletic community proud through all of your hard work and dedication!
