Donegal Athletic Club Funding Request Form

The Mission of the Donegal Athletic Club is to partner with the Donegal School District to promote athletics within the Donegal School District.

In order to promote athletics in the Donegal School District, all Student- Athletes, Booster Clubs- including Band and Coaches have the ability to request funds from the DAC Organization by the following:

• Individual Student Athlete, Coach or Booster Club must have a business case for the requested funds
• Requests must enhance the student-athletes of the sports overall experience, improve safety, and boost the overall sports program
• Requests should be supported by the School District and or the approval of the Athletic Director. The requestor is required to obtain the approval from the School District if necessary.

Application Process:

• Applications for requests need to be completed and submitted to DAC the 1^st of every Month, in which then will be discussed during the next Board Meeting, applicant may be requested to attend the Board Meeting to discuss the submitted request
• Applications may be submitted via email (donegalathleticclub@gmail.com) or through the website DonegalAthleticClub.org
• Business Case needs to convey the needs to better enhance the student-athletes of the sports overall experience, improve safety, and boost the overall sports program
• Expenditure would be determined by the DAC’s Financial success in prior year’s revenue from Fundraising

Qualifications:

• Must be approved by Athletic Director and submitted by he/she for DAC approval

• Can be need based directly from Athletic Director – Safety concern or outside budget.
  • Request must enhance the sports program or improve safety.
• Any Student- Athlete, Sports Club, including the Band (majorettes), Sports Booster Clubs and Coaches are able to make the request of DAC supported Funds.
• DAC has the right to request the financial status of the Sports Booster Clubs, Band Boosters if funds have been requested
  • DAC will only fund up to $5,000 per project based on the financial statement of the Booster Clubs and ability to co-fund the projects

DAC Expectations:

• Recognition for Donation
  • Presented at Home Opener/ Game
  • Booster Club Meeting
  • LOGO on Equipment
• Provide emails of student – athletes for Donegal Athletic Club to build membership
