Pride in the Tribe 5K Runners Support Student Athletics

Fifty-three runners raced in the third annual Pride in the Tribe 5K Run presented by the Donegal Athletics Club and Donegal Cross Country Booster Club on Saturday, March 18, 2023. 

The 5K race began at 9:00AM at the Donegal School District campus stadium entrance and ended about one hour later in the same location.  

Awards were presented to each of the following categories: overall top male finisher, overall top female finisher, and the top three male and female finishers in each age bracket—14 and under, 15-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, and 60 and over. 

Jordan Cruise, 25, was awarded 1st Place Men’s Overall with a time of 16:29. Cruise also finished in 1st place across all categories. Julie Halteman, 30, was awarded 1st Place Women’s Overall with a time of 20:37 and was the 3rd overall best time of the day.
